Is Trello getting greedy?
I know that a lot of Trello users are upset at some of the changes Trello is making to their Free Plan. Specifically, the fact that they are going to start limiting a Free Workspace to 8 collaborators. They are so ready to jump ship because they see this as a “greedy” move on Trello’s part…but, honestly, I think they are forgetting that Trello is a business and they need to make money too! I am able to do SO much in my Free plan, so I really can’t begrudge them this change.
While I understand this frustration completely, as a Solopreneur, this isn’t really a big issue for me. I also know that with a little creativity, Teams that can’t quite afford to upgrade a workspace with more than 8 collaborators have options (hint…cross-board automation is your friend!)
However, for those who decide that they need to move to a different platform due to this change, I wanted to show you how you can use Zapier to transfer data from Trello to a new platform you choose (provided that new platform is supported by Zapier)
For this video, I’ll be using Notion as the example, but this should work with other platforms as well.
