As solopreneurs, we often wear all the hats in our businesses, managing everything from marketing to customer service. Time is our most finite resource, and pursuing every opportunity can lead to burnout. The key is making tough decisions about what truly aligns with our goals and values, even when faced with “good” opportunities. If something doesn’t align with your core purpose, it’s okay to say no, even if it seems great at the moment.

I’ve faced this myself, like when I transitioned my business model from one-on-one coaching to an all-inclusive membership. Working one-on-one was good—it allowed me to give personalized attention—but it wasn’t sustainable for my mission to help as many women as possible while respecting their budgets. Shifting to a membership model took effort but aligned with my bigger “why,” allowing me to serve more women in a more accessible way. Now, I’m asking you: are you willing to give up the good to go for the great in your own business?
