🧠 Thought of the Week

“It’s not about the size of your audience; it’s about how much you care for them and how much they care about you. A small, engaged community can be more powerful than a large, disconnected one.”

We’ve all been there—scrolling through social media and wondering, “Should my audience be that big? Does more followers mean more success?” I used to think so too, but I was reminded of this week’s quote from Superfans recently, which helps me keep things in perspective.

It’s easy to get caught up in numbers, but what really matters is engagement. Are your followers connected to you and your message? That’s where real growth happens. In this week’s podcast, I dive into this and share how I’m focusing on building a community that actually cares.

If you’ve been feeling the pressure to grow, trust me—it’s not about size. It’s about connection.

⚙️ Streamline Your Week

Evaluating new tools to add (or replace) to your business is a really important skill to foster. It’s not always easy to know if a new platform or app is a good fit for you.

This past week’s YouTube video was a collaboration between me and a project management and brainstorming tool called Creately.

Check out my Honest Review to see if you might want to try Creately yourself, and also to watch how I evaluate potential new tools to make my business better.

🎯Take Action

This week, make a point of reaching out directly to one person in your audience. Your focus isn’t on making a sale, but fostering community. Take the time necessary to experience genuine connection with this person (assuming they are responsive!)
